For patients with bruxism (teeth grinding) and craniomandibular dysfunction (CMD), we offer custom-made occlusal splints (also called bite guards or night guards) as a solution. The splints are made from medical-grade high-polymer materials that exhibit high elasticity and durability. They adapt precisely to the patient's individual oral anatomy, can distribute abnormal chewing forces in a targeted manner, and thereby reduce muscle tension and joint stress.
Furthermore, we offer a dual treatment concept that includes both nighttime protection with a splint and accompanying functional daytime training. This helps patients to gradually improve their occlusal habits (biting patterns) and effectively treat associated temporomandibular joint disorders and muscular pain problems.
